Teeth Whitener Gel – For a More Radiant Smile

Of course, all of us want to have an attractive smile, and whiter teeth can certainly give you that. Unfortunately, only a lucky few are blessed with white teeth that one can be proud of. The good news is that there are a number of methods that can help you get that bright smile that you always dream of having with the help of a teeth whitener gel.

The usual options are in-office bleaching (performed by your dentist in his office), home bleaching (a DIY method that requires you to use either an over-the-counter whitening kit or a custom-made kit from your dentist), and whitening toothpaste or strips. You can choose from these options if you feel that your regular toothpaste isn’t making your teeth look as good as you want it to.

Of course, you will have to follow some guidelines in using at home teeth whitener gel. For instance, you will have to know when to stop. After all, you can’t keep bleaching your teeth forever. Teeth usually reach their maximum level of whitening within two weeks of using a whitening agent. At this point, your teeth are as white as they are ever going to be and there is no longer any need to continue bleaching daily. In fact, most dentists discourage bleaching beyond four weeks. But that does not mean that you will never bleach your teeth again – regular maintenance which could be once per a week, or once per every two weeks are always needed to keep the whiteness sustained.

As we go about our daily lives, we eat, and we drink beverages what will gradually stain our teeth, and if we don’t keep up the regular bleaching maintenance; eventually our teeth will start to discolor. It is really no brainer, because we know that the only way to keep our teeth sparkling and looking good is with regular maintenance otherwise our yellow stained teeth will come back.

We should also take note as well as be aware that all whitening teeth gel or agents work only on natural teeth. So if you have veneers, crowns, or any other artificial dental work done on your teeth then you may have to have them replaced in order to match the color of your teeth right after bleaching.

And while all whitening methods and teeth whitener gel are generally considered safe, experts still advise that you consult your dentist before undergoing any form of teeth whitening treatment. It is always better to err on the safe side, rather than plunging right into something new and regretting the decision later.
